Just added the sophomore LP by Broery Marantika from his WEA tenure. "Senja Di Kuala Lumpur" was released in 1980 with Ahmad Nawab (and his 'Orkes') at the helm as per the previous album. Apart from the title track, best cuts included "Setulus Cinta (Theme from 'Bintang Pujaan')" and "Hey (Dengarlah Bisikan Hatiku)". Just added the 1978 LP by Broery Marantika backed by Orkes Ahmad Nawab who was also the producer and arranger for this album. This first and perhaps most successful colaboration between Broery and Ahmad Nawab was also the first solo effort by Broery under the WEA Singapore/Malaysia umbrella. Apart from the title track "Mimpi Di Siang Hari", other evergreen hits included "Rindumu Rinduku", "Gugurmu Di Tangkai Madu" and the uptempo "Kasih". Just added a 1969 self-titled EP by Saloma otherwise known by the first song "Entah Di-Mana". Not indicated anywhere on the album but probably produced by Kassim Masdor and probably accompanied by Dendang Perindu led by Kassim Masdor. Also probably the songs were never reissued on CDs.
Just added a 1975 EP by Gary Joseph Gideon, a child performer first introduced by comedian Jamal Kerdil in his shows then at age 13, became the youngest contestant on Malaysian's Bintang RTM in 1975. Although he did not win in the finals, he was given the opportunity to record with EMI and also acted in the movie "Rahsia Hatiku" in the same year. Later he switched gear and became a much sought after session drummer playing and recording with the likes of M. Nasir, Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin to name a few. The Nawab brothers, Ahmad, Akbar & Omar were notable for their contributions to this EP titled "Di Mana Ibu".
Just added an OST EP for the film "Miang-Miang Keladi" (stylised as "Miang2 Keladi"), a Merdeka Film Studios production from 1968 directed by Omar Rojik. The two songs EP contains "Malang" a slow jazz tune by Norli Ismail and the title track "Miang-Miang Keladi" by Julie Sudiro. Both written by Ahmad Nawab. Filed under Original Soundtracks (OST).

Just added a 1974 EP by Salamiah Hassan taking the unofficial title from the first track "Tanpa Kasih Tanpa Sayang". Produced by M. Daud and arranged by Ahmad Nawab. Popular songs are "Scorpio" and "Ku Gembira" - The latter, a rendition of the Johnny Nash hit "I Can See Clearly Now" from 1972.

Just added a 1977 OST LP of the movie "Pendekar". The soundtrack was credited to Junainah M. Amin and Deddy M. Borhan with a duet by Junainah and Aziz Ja'afar. The back sleeve prominently featured Junainah M. Amin with her solo hit from the album "Kembali Kepada Ku". The sleeve photos were contributed by Khir Johari and the songs were combined contributions from Khir Johari, Zamdeka and Phiezoul.
Just added a 1980 Hari Raya LP from WEA "Aidil-Fitri Berma'af Ma'afan", combining artists from Malaysia and Singapore namely Ahmad Nawab, Azean Irdawaty, Hail Amir, Jamal Abdillah, Khadijah Ibrahim, Norazia Ali, Othman Hamzah, Sweet Charity & Uji Rashid. I've decided to leave the scripts intact, in between songs as per the original vinyl recording. Enjoy!
