Just added a 1982 LP by Sharifah Aini, Zaleha Hamid, Herman Tino & Sudirman Hj. Arshad celebrating Malay traditional songs. "Album Melayu Deli Bersama...." which is the first of two-part series. The Volume 2 was released the next year in 1983. Produced and arranged by S. Atan. Filed under "Various Artists".
Just added the 1976 debut album (EP) "Teriring Doa" by Sudirman Hj. Arshad after winning the 'Bintang RTM' competition in the same year. Included was the studio version of his winning song "Seruling Bambu" for the competition originally recorded by Lilis Suryani, Diah Iskandar, Jeffrydin, among others.
Just added two songs from Sharifah Aini's compilation album of her English recordings "Collection Plus 2" from 1982 - As the title indicates, just two new songs within.
Just added a 1974 LP by Ismail Haron titled "Hey, Hey, Sunny" for Side A and "MacArthur Park" for Side B. Out of eleven songs in this LP, IMHO, you will hear seven of his best and four of his worst works here (not saying which is which ヅ ). Arranged by Reggie Verghese.
Just added a 1972 EP by Sugiman Jahuri with Clique Fantastique titled "Pukol Anak Sindir Menantu" (literally "hit the child to hint the (son)-in-law" - what a unique title for a an album/song ヅ ). Produced by Kassim Masdor.
Just added a 1971 EP by Sugiman Jahuri titled "Kesah Chinta". Perhaps his most well-known recording inspired from the Francis Lai's "Love Theme from Love Story" in 1969 and later the vocal version "Where Do I Begin (Love Story)" by Andy Williams in 1971. Produced by Kassim Masdor.
Just added an EP by M. Fadzil with the musical backing of Clique Fantastique titled "Sa-Iring Jalan". The EP was from 1971 and produced by Kassim Masdor.
Just added a 1987 LP by Broery Marantika titled "Bahasa Cinta" with a couple of duets with Vina Panduwinata (not a duet album although Vina is featured on the cover). Arranged by Erwin Gutawa and produced by Handoko Kusuma featuring leading Indonesian musicians at the time. The album was distributed by Harpa Records Indonesia and by Pustaka Muzik NSR Malaysia in vinyl and music cassette formats although there's no evidence that there's a vinyl edition from Harpa Records.
Just added a 1971 EP by Titiek Sandhora & Muchsin with Band 4 Nada co-lead by Jadin & A. Riyanto - self-titled with "Muchsin / Titiek Sandhora". There's no duets here - Side A are songs by Muchsin and Side B are by Titiek Sandhora.
Just added a 1973 EP by Siti Aishah & R. Ismail titled "R. Ismail dan Siti Aishah" - By right, it's an EP by R. Ismail with two duets with Siti Aishah on Side A. All the four songs are basically re-invention of traditionally re-arranged songs with the two duets on heavy radio rotation for some time.
Just added an EP by R. Ismail with John Lee Orkestra. The self-titled EP otherwise known for the popular "Cemburu" was released in 1966.
Just added a 1976 EP by Rahimah Rahim titled "Renungan" (1976). Consisting of one Malay rendition of a American Country hit, another is of a Japanese song and one same-English version of "Please Mr. Please". One other copyrighted song is unknown, given the title "Tidak Seperti Dulu" here. Any information of the original title/artist will be appreciated.
