Just added the third album by Sheqal from 1994. Simply entitled “Cahaya”, Sheqal and M. Nasir shared the producer credits. The album produced the “rentak ethnik” hit “Ratib Orang Lautan” written by Sheqal himself.

Just rebooted M. Nasir's "Untuk Pencinta Seni" from 1979. Included new pictures and re-encoded the streaming quality from 128kbps to 320kbps for your enhanced listening pleasure. Enjoy!
Just added two albums by M. Nasir. "Konsert Akar M. Nasir: Manifestasi Akustika" (1995) and "Srikandi Cinta Ku" (1999). The former is an audio recording or the celebrated live concert and the latter is a reimagining of songs composed/written by M. Nasir originally sang by others except for "Suatu Masa" which was an M. Nasir original hit from 1981.
Just added a 1979 LP "Kenangan Ayah" by Filipino superstar Freddie Aguilar (birth name Ferdinand Pascual Aguilar and Muslim name Abdul Farid since 2013). This was after his "Anak" record exploded in 1978 and churned many versions in different countries and languages. Freddie himself re-recorded it in English, Italian and Malay (the latter came from this LP). Perhaps his only Malay album, it was recorded and produced in Singapore by Eric Yeo under the Philips label. The album was reissued on CD as "Anak" in 1997 with different cover and different song order. All 12 songs were basically Malay renditions of his 1976-1979 Tagalog hits with majority of lyrics by M. Nasir and two by S. Amin Shahab. M. Nasir was also tasked as vocal coach to Freddie but that didn't stop a Berita Harian reviewer from giving the album the thumbs-down based on Freddie's Malay pronunciations and also the fact that the album was all "terjemahan" ヅ
Just added a 1983 LP by Raffi Hussain titled "Membara" with strong support from the members of Kembara and Ideal Sisters. Not only did the arrangements earmarked the sound of Kembara but Raffi's voice on this LP echoed that of M. Nasir, who happened to be the album's producer. Best tracks are "Satu Percintaan", "Ku Menanti", "Kenangan Masa Lalu" and (again), the Kembara-inspired "Selagi Mimpi Masih Membara".
Just added a 1989 CD by M. Nasir titled "SOLO" - Produced and mostly written by M. Nasir himself, many people mistakenly assumed that this was his first solo project based on the title, after Kembara was disbanded, but in reality, it was his second full solo effort (third, if taken into account an instrumental tribute album "Irama M. Nasir" in 1982). His very first release was ten years prior with Polygram titled "Untuk Pencinta Seni". The vinyl version of "SOLO" omitted two songs, later found in this CD version.
Just added a 1983 LP by Rafeah Buang titled "Portrait Seorang Biduanita" - her last LP with Polygram Philips. Produced by M. Nasir featuring songs composed primarily by M. Nasir, A. Ali & M. Bakri Johari.
Just added a 1992 album by M. Nasir tittled "Saudagar Mimpi" - One if his best. Primarily produced by M. Nasir himself.
Just added a 1987 LP from Sharifah Aini entitled "Kasih". Produced primarily by M. Nasir also well-known for the duet (or some insisted just backing vocal) with M. Nasir for the song "Sabarlah Sayang". Other good songs written by M. Nasir for this album were "Hanya Dongeng Sandiwara" & the title track "Kasih". The latter, lyrics by S. Amin Shahab.
Just added an LP from 1982. "Irama M. Nasir" - a collection of instrumental versions of M. Nasir's hits.
Just added a 1981 compilation LP by Various Artists titled "Bintang Polygram" - the line-up which consisted of Polygram's 1980's staple of Malay artists namely M. Nasir with the new (and rare "theme") song "Demi Kedamaian" (credited as "Nyanyian Ramai") as well "Masing-Masing" which made its first appearance on this LP. All the other songs were lifted from the individual artists' previously released LPs as far back as 1979 for Alleycats' "Penyanyi" from their LP of the same name. This is free to stream since half of the songs already made it on CDs. Enjoy!
In appreciation of support from the M. Nasir Fan Group "Kelab Sahabat M. Nasir", all of Kembara is now free to stream. Enjoy!
Just added a 1981 Hari Raya album from Philips, Polygram "Pemberian Di Hari Raya". Featuring everyone's favourite "Satu Hari Di Hari Raya" by M. Nasir. This is the original version, not the more "radio-friendly" 1994 re-recording for BMG. Other artists included Al-Jawaher, Janji (featuring Eddynor Ali), Ideal Sisters, Rafeah Buang, Yunizar Hussein and non-Hari Raya fillers from Alleycats, Normah Johari & Raffi Hussin.
Just added an LP from Yunizar Hussein "Yunizar" (1980) containing the popular classic duet with M. Nasir "Dua Insan".
Just added an LP from Yunizar Hussein & M. Nasir "Dia Ibu Ku" (1981) containing the popular classic "Suatu Masa" - a vocal solo by M. Nasir.
Just added an album from M. Nasir - his very first solo album under the name Mohamed M. N. - "Untuk Pencinta Seni" (1979).
